Directo al B2 — Up to B2 Intensive

If reaching B2 in the shortest possible time is your goal, this is the programme. Intensive, highly structured, academic and professional in focus — ideal if you're heading to university, a Grado Superior, or a professional environment in Spain. Instituto Cervantes accredited.

Programme structure

Monday–Thursday (16h): 4 hours per day · same schedule throughout the term · includes guided self-study / tutoring

Friday (4h): Tutoring + activities (outings, events, talks — varies by term)

Schedules: Typically mornings (9:00) or midday (13:00) · may vary by intake

Total: 20 hours/week (55-minute teaching hours)

Enrolment: Open year-round, subject to availability

Levels & duration

  • Levels: A1, A2, B1, B2
  • Per level: ~4–5 months (depending on intake)
  • 12-month enrolment: Continues into C1 content to complete the year

Certification

Students receive an official certificate of achievement. BCNLIP is an Instituto Cervantes accredited centre. 80% in-person attendance is required for the visa-valid completion certificate. A hybrid format is available — online attendance is accepted only for a short, justified period.

The €350 enrolment fee covers the first textbook, administrative processing, document issuance, and place reservation. Non-refundable. A portion of your payment supports the BCNLIP Educational Foundation, which provides courses for people at risk of social exclusion.

Refund policy

In case of official visa denial, the course amount (minus the €350 enrolment fee) is refunded upon document review.

Work authorisation — important

A language-course student visa does NOT include automatic work authorisation. A separate Extranjería application is required to work legally. If work rights from day one are a priority, see the Grado Superior pathway.

Up to B2 vs. Spanish Intensive — what's the difference?

Both programmes run 20h/week and qualify for the Spanish student visa. The difference is in focus and experience.
